OC Plovdiv received the flag of the 2025 European Rowing Championship

On the final day of the European Rowing Championships, held this year in Szeged, Hungary, the host city handed over the flag to Plovdiv. The 2025 the European Rowing Championshipswill take place in Plovdiv from May 29th to June 1st. At the ceremonial event, the flag was symbolically handed over by the head of European Rowing, Annamarie Phelps, to Nikola Gospodarski – Competition Director of the OrganizingCommittee of the European Rowing Championship in Plovdiv. Israeli Rowing U19 Team's Training Camp in Plovdiv

The Israeli U19 Rowing Team recently completed a dynamic training camp in Plovdiv, Bulgaria from April 12th to April 22nd. Led by experienced coaches, the team immersed themselves in intensive training sessions. The Organizing Committee of the 2023 World Rowing U23 Championships received an award for ecology

The Organizing Committee of the 2023 World Rowing U23 Championships received a special "ECO Star" award for the environmentally friendly manner in which the Championships were conducted. As it is known, during the Championships, an organization for the separate collection of large amounts of plastic was established. Plovdiv was awarded the 2026 World Rowing U19 Championships

Plovdiv has been awarded the 2026 World Rowing U19 Championships at the governing body's Congress. The 2022 World Rowing Congress took place in Prague, following the World Championships in Račice, with delegates from 39 National Federations attending in-person while 31 registered to take part remotely. Shanghai and Amsterdam have been awarded hosting rights to the World Rowing Championships in 2025 and in 2026.
